Bulbous gestural vessel

This is a thrown and assembled vessel by Ben Brierley. Ben has used stoneware clay: with cordierite, Mountsorrel granite and Forshammer feldspar inclusions. Natural fly ash and Titanium ash glaze. It was anagama wood fired for 60 hours to 1400C. Ben is pictured holding this substantial vessel which weighs in at around 6kgs.
