Hand built tea bowl

This is a slab built white earthenware tea bowl by John Pollex. John has used his trademark coloured slips to decorate this pot. It's the detail that make John's pots so great - just look at the way he has applied tiny dots on the base of this tea bowl - where no-one will see them! John has even made his potters stamp into a decorative focal point. Not only do John's mugs and tea bowls look stunning but they are also a joy to hold.
