This is a very large unglazed thrown and altered bowl by John Higgins. John has thrown a footing on the base of this bowl which has been made using a mixture of Crank and Scarva hand building material, the colours are slip, copper oxide, and underglaze colours. John is pictured holding this bowl which he has stamped on the base with his potters mark.
