Online Ceramics has sponsored five stands for emerging artists at this year’s Innovations in Ceramic Art. A panel consisting of Stephen Dee founder of studiopottery.co.uk, the largest studio pottery site on the net, Sue Herdman, Editor of Ceramic Review and Peter Ward, founder of Online Ceramics selected Rebecca Appleby, Anne Butler, Adam Ross, Erika Tari and Keith Varney from 25 applications.
Building on the success of the first Innovations in Ceramic Art, Peter Ward said, ‘I was really keen to expand this year on the ‘innovations’ aspect of the show. I’m really pleased to see this concept was taken up with more artists this year who really challenge what can be produced using clay.’
Innovations in Ceramic Art will be taking place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 November. Over 70 artists will be showing their work at the Guildhall Cambridge. Tickets on the door will be £6 or £5 in advance from this website: www.onlineceramics.com/event/innovations-in-ceramic-art
