Tanya’s pieces are simple and elemental, using porcelain, stoneware and earthenware bodies. The surfaces are left bare, highly polished or worked with metal oxides to produce hard, essentially organic, lithic qualities. She is interested in the edges of vessels, their form, material structure and surface, but also in their group dynamics.
